St. Louis County Revised Plumbing Code adoption is expected in early 2010. New wording covering rainwater harvesting is included. So far, it is very general and inclusive. Code officials recognize lawn sprinkler systems as the single largest potential use for harvested rainwater. Expect more detailed restrictions and requirements on this emerging industry in future code revisions.
The GIA is planning to sponsor a Certified Irrigation Contractor Class in the spring of 2010. Anyone interested in participating should contact Keith Schweiger to put their name on the list.
The Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor class in the fall of 2009 has been canceled due to lack of interest and cost. The GIA is planning to reschedule this class for the spring of 2010 to correlate with the CIC class.

Sprinkler Hold Harmless Agreement
and
Irrigation Backflow Prevention Permit.
